PERFORATION
A series of holes between stamps in the sheet to facilitate easy separation is called perforation.
Types include - Comb, Intermediate, Line, Mixed, Rotary, Rough, Sewing Machine, Unususal, Elliptical, Oval, etc.
Varieties can be Mixed, rough, Compound, etc
Errors include missing perf, Interrupted, Irregular,
A perforation gauge is used to measure perforation. Perf 10 means 10 holes in the space of 2 cms
For modern day odd perfs - Can it be measured ?
